Planning a children's party can not only be stressful but also costly. Here are some tips and recipes that can help make your little angels' day special and low cost.

When throwing a children's party, remember these rules:

1. Keep it simple .
2. Keep it lively with a variation of bright festive colors and foods
3. Keep it child friendly. Don't make complicated foods that most adults will enjoy.
4. Try to keep everything at children's level. Children love having kid size table and chairs.
5. Use your local dollar store for great cups, plates, and unique decorations at a low cost.
6. break kids meals into sections. Try putting snacks between the games. For example, play a game then gather the children up for a small snack then have them play another game. Since children attention span at parties can be limited, this allows for maximum fun and meal time also.
7. Just have fun!!!! Children's parties can be stressful and tiring just lay back relax and have a great time.

Keep in mind that a party doesn't necessarily have to be for a child's birthday. Try thinking out of the box for fun ideas.
